Ursula Ferrigno has established herself as one of the leading Italian chefs, both teaching and writing for audiences in the UK, Ireland and Italy. Her face will be familiar as she regularly appears on television and has a firm following for her cookery writing.

Ursula will prepare Venetian white bean soup with potato & rosemary bread, pasta alla cartoccio with an artichoke, red onion and spinach salad and to finish chocolate and almond cake (gluten free) for us to enjoy together with a glass of wine overlooking the Stour Estuary.

£35 per person, payment in full prior to morning secures a place.

“It starts at the source of the Stour in Cambridgeshire and follows the river from original ditch to stream and brook to river through little villages under bridges and through several mills as a source of power and transport. Pictures of the river show these aspects, old and new, as well as some villages and the beauty of the valley and finally the estuary and industrial confluence with the sea.”

The Untapped Writers are local creative group of writers who will be reciting odes and poems which are funny and appealing to all ages.
