Charles Eaton runs his wine company from Cavendish, Suffolk, and provides us with a small but perfect selection of red and white wines from a Pinot Grigio to a delicious Rioja, aswell as a Nethergate bitter. Charles also runs regular wine tasting evenings at the café. www.nethergatewines.com

Derrick Allen for Fish: Every Thursday our trusted fishmonger arrives from 4.30pm after a packed day of delivering fish around the Dedham Vale. Derrick chooses the fish fresh from Lowestoft in the morning, preparing the fish pie mixes for our weekend Mistley Quay Fish Pie or the smoked mackerel pâté. If you need an order then please phone it through to the café on the Wednesday before 4.30pm.
